‘Kaafiya’
Two months ago, I took a firm step towards an age of renewed sensibility, fresher responsibilities and rejuvenated sensitivity, cropped in with the birth of ‘Kaafiya’.
Kaafiya is my novel thought — an idea, a vision. Kaafiya is but one of those many shades of sky, a sweet morning breeze, a blink of an eye, a heartbeat, a smile, a fragrance, a word — a diffusing difference — a blossoming change. Kaafiya is like a new day, simple but exclusive, fresh yet peculiar. Kaafiya is the upcoming multifaceted Poetry festival, which aspires to be India’s biggest. It would be one of its kinds with an innovative approach culminating into experiences new for everyone involved.
How flawlessly an experience can release the knowledge trapped in it, becomes the yardstick of the evolution of a being and also of an organization.
As much I can recollect, me and my team promised to keep introducing you to various beautiful facets of this festival, and we hope, we have been honestly delivering on our promises. I hope this journey of seeing Kaafiya grow by leaps and bounds must have proved a source of joy to you as much to me.
Kaafiya’ is a carnival worth the wait (Indeed, it is, if you take my words).
A youth-driven festival, where seasoned poets, artists, lyricists and luminaries would be seen celebrating Poetry with the masses. Every poetic face would mirror the other, and their words would then perfume this gathering. The festival would aim at suffusing enthusiasm in youthful writers/poets through substantial and subtle ways. In the run, we wish to promote poetry by piquing their interest, by giving enough wind beneath their wings, lending them space and direction.
Kaafiya is being designed and executed by the masters of their respective craft as I know them to be. The results are exquisite I dare say (A glimpse is being given in this first blog of mine).

Talking of Poetry, what do you visualize? Or rather fancy? A diary, a pen, and may be yourself, sitting at your writing desk. Right? Now, allow me to mix and match to your visualization colors that Kaafiya has on its palette. Canvass and photography— terraformed— into your snug diary. Poetry is going to find adoption in various other forms of art. Let me enlist the other formats. There are going to be Poetry Talks, Spoken Word Poetry, Poetry Workshops, Poetry Heritage Walks, Poetry Story Telling, Poetry & Dance, Poetry & Music, Mushaira, Panel Discussions, and further additions as and when time may suggest.
